We are looking for members of the community to become involved with the Silverado Community Association in areas of developments, recreation, web-site, and events for 2015. A great place to get involved with the community board is at the SCA Annual General Meeting on Thursday, February 26th, 2015. The SCA AGM will be held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the South Fish Creek Recreation Centre, Super 8 Room. The SCA AGM is also an opportunity to meet your Ward 14 City Alderman Peter Demong and Calgary Southeast Provincial MLA Rick Fraser. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions or concerns to your civic and provincial represents about are community. With the development of 194th Ave just south of Silverado being linked to Spruce Meadows Way in the next two years and it’s eventual linkage to Macleod Trail to the east. There will be considerable development around Silverado including the the last leg of the S.W. Ring Road which will be built from Macleod Trail & 22X intersection up to Calgary Olympic Park. Additionally Silverado will see new developments to the south of the community (Yorkville) and to the east (East Silverado) in the coming years. With two schools planned for Silverado in future years. There will be alot of development and construction around Silverado and with-in. The SCA AGM is a great place to ask questions about these upcoming developments. At the SCA AGM you will be able to see the events we have planned for the community, talk with board members and get involved in your community.
We hope to see you at the SCA AGM on February 26th.
